Remote Handsets are placed at specified locations, within a building, to enable communication between fire-fighters and Master Handset Panel during fire evacuation. A metal enclosure with a knockout hole made each at the top and bottom of it is used to house the handset. A set of key lock and master key system with a break-glass window access (usage for emergency door opening) is included in the unit. The Handset is moulded of ABS plastic and attached with a coiled cord. A high dB electronic buzzer and a Red falshing LED indicator is built-in within the handset unit.
