Emirates International Law Firm – EILF was formed in 1996 (via merger of the AlQasimi and AlShaikh law firms) to service the legal needs of local and international business clients within the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Its flagship office in Abu Dhabi is staffed by a team of experienced advocates, legal consultants, and internationally trained lawyers, offering high caliber legal advice regarding the law of the UAE and other member states of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC). The two founders of the firm are H.E. Shaikh Fahim Bin Sultan AlQasimi, the former Minister of Supreme Council and AGCC Affairs, the former UAE Minister of Economy & Commerce and the former Secretary General of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) and Dr. AbdulRahman AlShaikh, a long standing practitioner and professor of law at UAE University School of Law.
