Air Filter are used and design into air/gas flow systems to remove particulates from the air to what is termed as " air conditioning"
the use of filters is simple technique of removing and preventing of air born particules from clogging heating/cooling fins or radiators to as small as 0.1micron which should cause significant performance degradation in the air flow system as well as damage the heat excharger system.
