The new SIRIUS circuit-breakers meet both UL 489 and CSA 22.2 No. 5-02. This new range allows universal use of the circuit- breakers in control cabinets in accordance with UL/CSA. Furthermore, these certified breakers now also provide fuse-free protec- tion for non-motor loads, which means they are ideal as protective devices for transfor- mers, heating and other non-motor loads.
Another key application area of the UL 489 circuit-breaker is its use as a branch circuit protective device in group motor installa- tions in accordance with UL/CSA. Thus, the SIRIUS modular system offers a complete product range for both IEC and UL/CSA control cabinets. The advantage for the user is the uniform configuration for IEC and UL/CSA.
3RV17 circuit-breakers, size S3 with fixed overload release, cover the current range from 10 to 70.
