The GANG-NAIL(nail plate) Truss System is based on the GANG-NAIL timber connector, which is a steel plate with multiple spikes or teeth projecting from one face. The connectors are pressed into the timber using hydraulic or pneumatic presses or occasionally hand rammers, causing the teeth to embed in the timber.
